The upcoming romcom anime Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai just unveiled a new teaser visual. The new illustration hints at the faces of the four heroines of the series. Both the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series released the new visual.

The romantic comedy anime is coming out in 2026, but there is no definitive release date yet. Unfortunately, no new cast or staff details have been unveiled either. The series is being produced by Tezuka Productions, known for their work on the original Astro Boy anime, as well as new series like The Quintessential Quintuplets and The Fable.
The anime is based on the popular manga series by Shinya Misu. It has been published on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since 2022. The story revolves around Eeyuu, a high school boy who has two girl childhood friends Shio and Akari. However, now that they’re in high school, Eeyuu has started looking at them sexually, thinking they’re really cute. He is embarrassed about his perverted thoughts, not knowing that his friends might also be going through the same dilemma. But how will their complicated love triangle work out when even more characters start appearing?
