The supernatural mystery comedy is coming out on 7 July, 2025.
Previously, it was announced that the Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole anime adaptation was set to come out on 7 July, 2025. Ahead of the release, the anime unveiled a new trailer for the mystery comedy, highlighting two new characters, as well as the opening theme song.

The two new voice actors who have joined the cast are:
- Maggie voiced by Aki Toyosaki (Isuzu Soma in Fruits Basket, Aoi Inuyama in Laid-Back Camp)
- Sukekiyo voiced by Mafia Kajita (Gurasan in Warlords of Sigrdrifa, Host of the Radio 4gamer radio show)

syudou performs the opening theme song of the anime ‘Kamidanomi’. The ending theme song ‘Kenso feat. Aile The Shota’ is performed by Mirin Sheeno. Brain’s Base adapts the animation from Natsumi Eguchi’s manga series. Hiroshi Ishiodori is the director while Shinzō Fujita is penning the scripts.
Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide. The platform describes Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole’s story as:

A shady self-proclaimed hermit named Momoyuki Mogura, AKA: Mogura, is banned from the afterlife due to an incident. Now he collects spirit possessed will-o'-wisps in his lantern, hoping to make a comeback.
It seems that those who encounter him begin to see peculiar things.
This time, Natsumi Eguchi, the author of "Hozuki's Coolheadedness" brings a mysterious yet comedic story where living humans and ghosts intersect in the here and now!
