The movie is screening at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025.
The anime movie adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel “All You Need is Kill” is premiering at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025. Ahead of the release, the anime announced its main cast who will be voicing the central characters Keiji and Rita. The novel was previously adapted into a live action hollywood movie titled Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.

The two main cast members of the film are:
Rita voiced by Ai Mikami (Yukina in the live action Yu Yu Hakusho, and Rino Hasebe in live action Undead Lovers movie)
Keiji voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer, Okarun in Dandadan)
Both voice actors have also spoken about their feelings about the respective characters in the project. The statements have been released on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the series.
Produced by Warner Bros. Japan, the film is being animated by STUDIO 4°C. Kenichiro Akimoto directed the movie, which is set to be first screened at the Animation Film Festival 2025 on 9, 12, and 13 June. A manga adaptation of the light novel by Ryosuke Takeuchi has also been published. Viz Media, who have licensed both the Hiroshi Sakurazaka novel and the manga in English describe the story as:
