The revival sequel of the hit anime series is coming to television screens soon!
A newly-released main promotional video for the upcoming “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT” anime has confirmed a broadcast premiere date of 9 July, as well as the anime’s Anime Expo 2025 world premiere event on 4 July. The anime will be getting both a censored and original version.
The censored version for “New PANTING & STOCKING with GARTERBELT” will begin airing on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, Mie Television Broadcasting, TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu, Gifu Broadcasting, and TV Hokkaido, while the original version will air on 15 July at AT-X, according to a press release by Kadokawa. Amazon Prime Video will stream the series on 10 July, followed by other streaming services.
There is no confirmation on if the streamed version will be available for a global audience.

Kadokawa describes the story for the sequel series as:
In Daten City, a realm between heaven and hell, sinister spirits known as "Ghosts" prowl the streets, feeding on human desires and resentment.
Yet, in the darkest moments, two figures emerge to obliterate these vengeful beings with a divine light beyond human understanding.
Their names? Panty & Stocking! These fallen angel sisters have been tasked with purging the darkness engulfing the earth.
But who are they, really? Are they truly messengers of God... or agents of the Devil?
Originally produced by the now defunct animation studio GAINAX, Hiroyuki Imaishi is returning to direct the sequel series at Studio TRIGGER. Hiromi Wakabayashi is the script writer, while Atsushi Nishigori is the character designer. The rest of the staff are:
