Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Season 2 was confirmed right after the first season ended last year. Today marks the one-year anniversary of the release of the inaugural episode of the season. To celebrate the occasion, the official website of the anime finally confirmed that the second season is coming in 2026. A key visual of the two protagonists was also released.

Not much has been disclosed about the second season of the romcom anime other than the 2026 release window. The main cast will likely reprise their roles from season 1. This includes:

Hiroshi Haraguchi will direct Season 2 of the anime at Doga Kobo, taking over from Ryota Ito. Kim Seong-min will join as the sub-director. Yuka Yamada is handling the series composition while Yuhei Murota is returning to design the characters. The anime is based on the popular romcom novel series written by SunSunSun and illustrated by Momoco. A manga adaptation by Saho Tenamachi has also been serialised.
