“The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch” anime adaptation has finally been announced. The official website and social media accounts of the project revealed that the anime is set to air in 2026, although the exact date remains unknown.
A brand new teaser trailer and key visual have also been released, along with the main cast of the series.

The main voice cast of the upcoming anime consists of:
- Spica Virgo voiced by Kaede Hondo (Rin Fujishiro in A Sign of Affection, Mia Adenauer in The Too-Perfect Saint)
- Claude Sirius voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen, Seishiro Nagi in Blue Lock)
Naomasa Tatsuwa is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS. Midori Goto handles the series composition while Takayuki Onoda designs the characters. The social media account of the anime also released comments from all three of them.
The original The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch manga is written and illustrated by Yousuke Kaneda, who posted a commemorative illustration to celebrate the anime adaptation. Kodansha publishes the manga on their K Manga platform and describes the story as:
