Tatsuki Fujimoto's early one-shots get anime adaptation (Shueisha/ Tatsuki Fujimoto).

Eight one-shot manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto to receive anime adaptation, premiering on 8 November

These adaptations will highlight Fujimoto’s work before Chainsaw Man.

Revered mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto is mainly known in the anime community for his Chainsaw Man and Fire Punch manga series. However, the genius has also created some incredible one-shots that truly show his depth as an artist. 

This November, his early works are getting the recognition they deserve as seven directors across six studios will adapt his Before Chainsaw Man manga one-shots into an anime anthology. The series will start streaming on Amazon Prime Videos on 8 November in Japan (7 November worldwide). A trailer has also been released for the project.

Tatsuki Fujimoto one-shots anime adaptation reveals staff members

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the world of Tatsuki Fujimoto, and it will blow your mind. Before Chainsaw Man and Fire Punch, Fujimoto worked on a series of one-shots, which were collected in two volumes known as Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man 17-21 and Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man 22-26. The numbers on the titles coincides with Fujimoto's age when the work was published.

All eight of those stories will be adapted into the upcoming anime anthology, which is titled Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26.
