A new teaser visual has been released for Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2.
The popular shonen anime Fire Force, based on Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga series of the same name, is coming to an end soon.
The official website and social media accounts of the anime announced that Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2, which is the final cour of the final season, will premiere on 9 January, 2026.
The news came with a new visual as well! The first part of Fire Force Season 3 aired in April, 2025. The final stretch will begin with adapting the manga’s Asakusa Showdown arc.
Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2 is coming next year
The broadcast date and time for the first episode of Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2 is 9 January, 2025 at 25:23 JST (which is effectively 10 January, 2025 at 1:23 JST). After the TV broadcast, the anime will stream exclusively on Netflix in Japan. A new teaser visual for the upcoming season was released during the Crunchyroll Showcase panel at New York Comic Con 2025. Crunchyroll streams the sub and dub version of the anime worldwide. Crunchyroll has also revealed new acquisitions for 2026.
Tatsuma Minamikawa is returning to direct the final run of the anime at David Production. Hideyuki Morioka continues to design the characters, with Mika Yamamoto as the sub-character designer. Sei Tsuguta writes the scripts. Yoshihiro Yoshioka, Mariko Kubo, and Yumenosuke Tokuda are the chief animation directors. Yumi Horikoshi is the new art director while Kōji Kodera is the new CG director. Ryō Ōhashi is the VFX supervisor while Natsuki Takei is the composition director of photography.
The first season of the anime came out in 2019, followed by the second season in 2020. THe first part of the final season aired in April, 2025. Crunchyroll currently streams all seasons of the anime, and will continue to do the same for the final cour. The platform describes the overall story of the anime as:
