It has been confirmed that the second Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway anime film, titled Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe (Kidō Senshi Gundam: Senkō no Hathaway - Circe no Majo) is coming out on 30 January, 2026. Previously, it confirmed a Winter 2026 premiere with no exact date, but now the fans can rest assured that the movie is coming soon. A new trailer also gives the audience a glimpse into what to expect from the project.

The anime films are based on Yoshiyuki Tomino’s 1989 Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash. The upcoming project is the second movie of a planned trilogy. The year is U.C. 0105, 12 years after Char's Rebellion.
The MAFTY have begun a resistance against the oppressive Earth Federation Government by assassinating its high-ranking government officials. Their leader is none other than Hathaway Noa, the son of Bright, who fought alongside Amuro Ray in the One Year War.
Gigi Andalusia, a girl who has some mysterious powers, reminds Hathaway of his past trauma. Despite being affected by her words, Noa remains stoic in his goal to carry out an air raid on the Adelaide conference. This is to fulfill MAFTY’s goal, and to also lay his past to rest.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Sleg from the Federation Forces prepares a defense for the Adelaide Conference and also devises a plan to eliminate the MAFTY. However, he is suddenly approached by Handley Yoxon of the Criminal Police Organization who comes to him with a top secret proposal.
While Hathaway and Kenneth each work toward their own goals, Gigi also travels to Hong Kong to fulfill her role.
