Kaiser uses his special training to break out of Rin’s attack.

The latest chapter of Muneyuki Kaneshiro’s popular football manga got us a bit closer to the end of the final match between Bastard München and Paris X Gen. Rin revealed that he has decided to stay within a four-meter radius of Isagi so he can break his bond with Kaiser. Charles passes the ball to Shidou, who in turn passes it toward Rin. When Kaiser charges forward, Rin blocks him with his body, but the German forward has something up his sleeve.

Charles kicks the ball as Isagi wonders how Rin broke him and Kaiser off although they came up with the move on the spot. Rin comes up beside him and says that it’s because he decided to stay within a four-meter radius of Isagi as he can block all of Isagi’s attacks reflexively within that range. After hearing this, Isagi realizes that he will have to battle the genius in this space if he wants to continue his coordination with Kaiser. The PXG players pass the ball amongst themselves and Charles kicks the ball to Shidou. When Jin and Rensuke try to stop him, Shidou passes the ball to Rin.

However, Rin doesn’t pass the ball again to Shidou when he asks for it, and Isagi thinks it’s because he wants to score a goal while bumping into him. As Isagi continues his struggle against Rin, Kaiser charges in toward them. Rin also flashes forward, and Isagi realizes it’s because his plan was to crash into Kaiser and not him. When Rin’s body slams into Kaiser, he is hell-bent on destroying Isagi. However, Kaiser says that he has been specially trained to withstand physical attacks and can even take on a genius like Rin. Thanks to that training, Kaiser breaks through Rin’s attack and kicks the ball away.
