Call of The Night Season 2 announces July 2025 broadcast date

Call of The Night has announced a July 2025 broadcast date for Season 2 of the anime adaptation.

Call of The Night's anime adaptation has revealed a July 2025 broadcast period for its upcoming second season. The announcement was made via a new promotional video and a key visual posted by the official social media account of the anime adaptation. 

The new trailer also revealed that Rina Sato, Mikoto Misaka's voice actress from the renowned A Certain Scientific Railgun, will play the vampire Kiku Hoshimi.

Call of the Night, or Yofukashi no Uta in Japan, is a manga series written and illustrated by Kotoyama. It was serialised in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday from 2019 to 2024. The manga has been compiled into 20 book volumes. An anime adaptation aired in 2022, and a second season is now on the verge of release. 

The story follows Ko Yamori, who has difficulty sleeping at night and has always felt unsatisfied with his life. One day, while doing his usual nightwalking, he meets Nazuna Nanakusa, a vampire who shows Ko the joys of being a nightwalker. Inspired, Ko wants to become a vampire like Nazuna, but to do so, he must first fall in love with her.

Call of The Night Season 2 will air in July 2025.
