Other than the anime, a new manga series called Hell Teacher Nube Plus (Jigoku Sensei Nube Kai) is also coming out on 14 May, 2025 in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital magazine. Takeshi Okano is illustrating the spinoff manga based on Shō Makrura’s story. A few days ago, they also released a one shot Hell Teacher Nube manga.

The original manga series came out in 1993 and ended in 1999. An anime adaptation of the same was released in 1996. The supernatural manga series follows a teacher named Nube, who has some psychic powers. He arrives in the town of Domori, a place plagued with supernatural activities, to save its children. Although he’s kind and extroverted, Nube hides a secret–his left hand is possessed by a demon. Join the teacher and his students in an amazing journey filled with battles, love, and much more.
