No exact release date has been given, or if the movie will hit global streaming services or theatres, but we can expect more information in the coming weeks.

“Nymph of Circe” cast, staff, and other details

Alongside the trailer, the main returning cast and staff lineup have been revealed:

Cast:

  • Kensho Ono as Hathaway Noa
  • Reina Ueda as Gigi Andalucia
  • Junichi Suwabe as Kenneth Sleg

Shuko Murase is returning to direct the sequel at studio SUNRISE and Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., with Yasuyuki Muto once again writing the scripts. Character designers Pabolo Uchida, Naoyuki Onda, and Shigeku Kuhara are also returning to helm, while Hiroyuki Sawano continues as music composer.

The sequel is a second of a planned trilogy of films based on the 1989 novel series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash. The trilogy was first teased back in 2018, and formally announced during the Gundam 40th anniversary press conference November of that same year.

The first film released in 2021 after a number of delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with Netflix distributing the film digitally. Netflix describes the plot of the first movie as:

After Char’s rebellion, Hathaway Noa leads an insurgency against Earth Federation, but meeting an enemy officer and a mysterious woman alters his fate.
