Marina Inoue has joined the cast.
The upcoming fantasy adventure anime “White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party, Picked Up by S-Rank Adventurer” just revealed some more details. Not only has a new voice actor joined the cast but a brand new PV also revealed the anime’s opening theme song. The series is set to premiere in July, although no release date has been announced yet.

Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan, Momo Yaoyorozu in My Hero Academia) has joined the cast as Merlin. The main cast, additional cast, and also some extra cast members have previously been announced. The latest trailer also revealed the opening theme song of the show, ‘Junjo de Are’ performed by Gakuto Kajiwara, the voice behind the protagonist Lloyd.
The anime is produced by Felix Film with Hiroshi Tamada directing it. Akihiki Inari is in charge of series composition while Yuta Ito designs the characters. Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Tsubasa Handa are composing the music for the series. The original light novel series is written by Sora Suigetsu and illustrated by DeeCHA. A manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno is also being published.
The story of White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party revolves around Lloyd, an extraordinary support magic user who thinks he’s normal. After being kicked out of an arrogant hero’s party, Lloyd happens to help an S-rank party with their mission. They welcome Lloyd with open arms as the other hero party starts to crumble. But Lloyd has a lot on his plate.
