Masumi Tazawa has joined the cast.
The upcoming fantasy anime “The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest” just announced a new character and cast member. The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series have both confirmed the news. The show is set to premiere sometime in October 2025, but a definitive release date is yet to be revealed.

According to the news, Krasia will be voiced by Masumi Tazawa (Chiaki Matsushita in Classroom of the Elite, Anne in Nina the Starry Bride). A new key visual and the VAs comments have also been added to social media. Previously, two other characters were announced:
- Alec Yugret voiced by Shūichiro Umeda (Milo Genius in Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Koichi Haimawari in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes)
- Yorha Eisentz voiced by Yurika Kubo (Kikyō Kushida in Classroom of the Elite, Tōka in Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest)

The series is based on the popular light novel series by Alto, which is illustrated by Yuunagi. It also has a manga adaptation by Yuki Monji. Kodansha publishes both the light novel and the manga. The KManga app describes the story as:
“I don’t need a worthless mage who can only use support magic. You’re fired.”
Alec, a court magician who supported the crown prince from behind the scenes, suddenly finds himself exiled from the royal court. Now jobless, he pays the magic academy a visit and runs into Yorha, one of his party members from his school days.
