Gachiakuta Chapter 139 recap

The Chokermaker tells Rudo and Enjin that he needs to imbue a random cord with his own blood to turn it into a Choker. He can mass-produce them because he also owns a part of the Watchman series. Mymo could take advantage of this situation because he can control those whose blood he drank. He continuously drank the Chokermaker blood and forced him to create chokers. Enjin asks that if he needs to drink someone’s blood to control them, it would mean he consumed the blood of everyone that’s present in the arena. Not only that, it’s likely that he drank the blood of all the people who wear a choker. But Enjin doesn’t understand how he was able to do that.
The Chokermaker says creating a Choker requires his blood, but using it requires the user’s blood. Enjin remembers imbuing his own Choker with his blood years ago. Mymo set his sights on that unique combination of the two bloods mixing and refined his power to the point where he can control the Chokermaker and anybody else whose blood is mixed with his. Enjin asks if Rudo’s Choker is special as he’s not under Mymo’s control, and the Chokermaker says yes. His Choker doesn’t require the user’s blood but it can only connect to the Chokermaker. Rudo and his friends are the only ones he can depend on to defeat Mymo and end his megalomania.

Rudo says that it will be hard to take off everyone's Choker, but they can take the mic from Mymo, as it’s his Vital Instrument. Rudo says that he’s not the only one who won’t let him get away with controlling people. The other Cleaners jump onto the stage beside him. He promises to crush Mymo as an owner of part of the Watchman series, and on behalf of the Chokermaker. But Mymo suddenly says that maybe this is the kind of talk that’s keeping Rudo from going back to the Sphere. He then asks his two lackeys Felix and Gil what their dreams are, and they say it’s to protect Mymo. Unlike them, who are making their dreams a reality, Zanka, who is from a prestigious family, keeps losing to Jabber Wonger. Enjin pokes his nose in everyone’s business but he’s so hypocritical that he hides his true identity even from his friends. Mymo then asks Riyo how her father is doing.
Finally, he turns to Rudo and says that he’s a dunce who can’t even go back to the Sphere and avenge his father’s death. This makes Rudo angry, and he tries to attack Mymo. But Felix stops him with a shield created with his Vital Instrument. Mymo says that he has worked tirelessly to become the ruler, which was his dream, and people who can’t make their dreams into reality can’t lecture him. He then turns on his Vital Instrument Elenhos and orders the entire arena full of people to kill Rudo, Enjin, Zanka, and Riyo. The final panel shows the four Cleaners standing on the stage as the massive crowd of people form a wave to attack them.
Gachiakuta Chapter 139 review

Just as I predicted in the last article, Mymo used his hold on the festival attendees to turn them against Rudo’s group. This puts them in an incredibly tough position as they can’t hurt the normal people but there’s no way for them to escape without being ripped to shreds otherwise. Even if they somehow survive the sea of people, they’ll have to face Felix, Gil, and Mymo next, which will also be incredibly tough. I’m interested in seeing how the Cleaners escape this one, as Tomme and Fuu are also in their group but hiding. The Hell Guard will probably join in on the battle as things are getting too out of hand now. You can expect to see some mind-bending action in the manga soon.
