The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the seinen fantasy anime Clevatess has finally revealed a premiere date: 2 July! Alongside the Japanese broadcast, Crunchyroll will be simulcasting episodes for global fans. The series also revealed additional cast, a synopsis and preview for the first episode, as well as a third promotional video which also featured the ending theme song performed by English singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding.

The additional cast members joining Clevatess are:

English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, who has had a celebrated career as a pop singer, is performing the ending theme song with her new single ‘Destiny’. Goulding also released a video message about her single through Kadokawa’s official YouTube account, expressing her excitement in being involved with Clevatess.
The anime is being produced by Lay-duce with Kiyotaka Taguchi helming the series as director. The scripts are written by Keigo Koyanagi with Souichiro Sato as the character designer, and Nobuaki Nobusawa as the music composer.

Alicia, who had dreamed of becoming a hero since she was a child, becomes one of the 13 heroes chosen by the king.
