Blue Lock Chapter 307 recap

Isagi lands in Barcelona, Spain, in high spirits. It’s revealed that in the package Ego sent him, there were multiple plane tickets, as well as tickets to football games. Ego wants him to see what world class football looks like in person. There are tickets to England, France, and other countries. However, the first match he needs to watch is the Copa Del Rey finals in Barcelona between FC Barcha and Chicord. Barcha is the team that Bachira played for in the Neo Egoist League and Isagi is excited to see them. However, he first decides to go to a restaurant to eat something. He soon faces a problem, as he can’t read anything on the menu. Suddenly, he sees a person sitting alone, and his dish looks appetizing to Isagi. The boy decides to go and ask the man about it.
Isagi says hello to the man and is shocked to see a big scar on his face. He asks for the name of the dish, but the other man doesn’t understand him. Isagi offers him one part of his translation earbuds and wears the other. After that, when Isagi asks the name of the dish he’s eating, the man answers with ‘Auedif’ and describes it as Paella with pasta. He asks about where Isagi’s from, and the boy answers that he’s from Japan and he’s here to watch football. When the man asks if he likes football, Isagi says that he loves it and describes how he’s learning more about the game every day. The man says that he’s happy Isagi has something to be so excited about. When the protagonist asks if he also has something like that, the man says he might have once. But now, watching someone get excited like Isagi makes him wanna die.

Isagi says he will leave and the man apologises. He says that it’s not Isagi’s fault and he’s a bit insensitive. Isagi points out that ever since he saw him, he noticed a very sad smile on the man’s face. The man jokingly says that it’s rude and gets up to leave. But when Isagi tries to order ‘Auedif’ the waiter says that it’s called ‘Fideua’. It seems that the man twisted the name of the dish around to mess with Isagi. Later, when Isagi goes to the stadium to watch the match, he’s hyped to see all the excitement around him. He recognises Lavinho. But suddenly, he notices a player who seems really familiar. As the tall man plays, Isagi realises that he’s the man he met at the restaurant. He Googles the man and realises that he’s a starter for FC Barcha as well as one of the New Generation World 11. On the field, the player, known as Bunny for his incredible jumping power, scores a phenomenal goal. Bunny Iglesias then smiles at the camera and Isagi realises that he’s one of the people they’ll have to beat at the U-20 World Cup. Elsewhere, we see Sae Itoshi watching the match, and Bunny, with an angry look on his face.
Blue Lock Chapter 307 review

Another disgruntled player appears! I wonder how long it will take for Bunny to be revitalised by Isagi and fall in love with the game again. The protagonist's effects never seems to amaze me. But I am excited to see if there’s any history between him and Sae, as the midfielder seems to hate Bunny. It is likely that Bunny was the one to destroy Sae’s dream of becoming a striker, and I’m sure we’ll learn more about it soon. The one goal from Bunny that we saw in the chapter looked incredible, so I can’t wait to see more of his plays throughout this match.
