Okarun gets a mysterious gift.
The 200th chapter of Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan manga was just released, and it felt like the calm after (or before?) the storm. Momo and her group land safely at their destination while Mr. Murakami gets arrested for his crimes against Yukishiro. But it seems that the Kito family ended up on…the Moon? This chapter proves that just because there’s no action, doesn’t mean it has to be boring.

Dandadan Chapter 200 recap
The plane, which was almost swallowed up by the massive Human Typhoon, lands safely on the runway, thanks to Daiki’s expert piloting skills. The group barely makes it to their assigned seats before the Empty Space runs out. We see that despite all the fighting that Momo and her friends did, the other passengers didn’t see any of it. Although Momo’s group is safe, the same can’t be said for the Kito family. We see them stranded in a strange place where gravity is very low. Naki Kito curses Momo as she thinks it was her plan to use them and send them away when the purpose was fulfilled. As the Kito family mourns with their massive worm, we realise that they somehow ended up on the Moon!
It becomes a bit clearer in the next panel when we see some Serpo aliens looking at the landing plane from their spaceship. Apparently, they teleported the typhoon from the Philippines to bring down the plane. However, it was forced to dissipate thanks to Momo, Zuma, and Jiji’s efforts. The Serpo aliens acknowledge that Momo Ayase is an extremely dangerous being. However, if they don’t do something soon, she could be taken by Count Saint-Germain. In the end, the Serpo aliens plan to send a bigger troupe next.
We then move to the school, where the police arrest Mr. Murakami. Yukishiro says that he threatened to post her pictures in her underwear. The police leave after telling her to come to the station the next day. Queen sensei comforts her after they’re gone.
Outside, Aira is put into an ambulance due to her injuries and complains to Okarun that it hurts. He offers to ride the ambulance with her and Rin offers the same. But Aira says she’d rather only have Okarun with her. However, Queen sensei says she’ll travel with her and asks the students to go home, which shocks Aira. She asks Okarun to visit her in the hospital.
After she leaves, Okarun asks how Hase is, and Kinta says he doesn’t care. The more important part is that the case isn’t solved. He explains that Murakami, much like Yukishiro, was ordered to collect abilities by someone, which means another person is pulling the strings behind everything.
Kinta says that nowadays, criminal organisations are mixing with the common people really well. This is due to the members not even knowing each other’s names and whereabouts. They only follow orders they get, without knowing where their enemy is and who their allies are.
The same is probably true with Yukishiro, Mr. Murakami, Hase, and the alien lady. Although they work for the same person with the same purpose, they don’t know each other’s secret identity. Okarun is worried that they might not be able to catch the mastermind, but Kinta is sure this scattered structure is bound to break down one day.
Kinta tells the class rep to be more careful and Okarun suddenly remembers Momo’s smiling face. Suddenly, Manjiro comes running towards them, calling Okarun’s name. He says he’s here because his master, Miss Seiko Ayase, told him to protect them. He tells him that his master was attacked by a mysterious group, who might attack Okarun and the others next. Manjiro hands a cloth covered box to Okarun, saying Seiko asked him to give it to him.

Is Okarun finally getting guns? Jokes aside, it’s likely some sort of spiritual weapon that would be perfect for our protagonist. Ever since Turbo Granny left, Okarun has been void of supernatural powers. He can still fight thanks to his improved physical capabilities, but of course he will fall behind his friends who all wield spiritual, supernatural, or unearthly powers. Seiko probably met with her friends to collect a weapon for Okarun that will help him channel his physical energy better. Or maybe she caught Turbo Granny in a box for him. Either way, Okarun is getting an upgrade. Drop your guesses, but my bet is on some really cool blades, like an ancient katana. But what interests me more is how the Kito family is even alive on the Moon without oxygen.
