The anime was announced during GeeXPlus, Inc.’s Anime Expo panel.
This year’s Anime Expo has just started and it’s been full of surprises already. One of these pleasant surprises came from popular Thai-English anime YouTuber and member of the Trash Taste podcast Gigguk (Garnt Maneetapho), who announced that he’s creating his own isekai anime movie with GeeXPlus Inc, titled “Bâan -The Boundaries of Adulthood -” . This series was announced during GeeXPlus Inc. Anime Expo panel and was spotlighted as part of GeeXPlus’ new GeeXProductions division. Along with Gigguk, two more anime by DillonGoo, and OtakuVS were also announced. The film will be released in Japan on 24 August, 2025.
Baan -The Boundaries of Adulthood- cast, staff, and other details
The official trailer previews the two central characters of the series travelling between worlds. No cast members have been announced for the project yet, but it has been revealed that Gigguk’s wife Sydney Poniewaz will voice Rin, the protagonist of the anime, in the English dub. Bâan is an 18-minute short movie which will be animated by Studio Daisy. Yoshimitsu Ohashi is directing the anime while Kevin Penkin composes the music. Gigguk is the creator and supervising director of the movie. Other staff members include:

Gigguk has released a video on his YouTube channel talking about the project and his experience working on it. The anime will be released in Japan at Grand Cinema Sunshine on 24 August, 2025. Later, it will also be available to watch on Gigguk’s YouTube channel for free. The story of Bâan -The Boundaries of Adulthood - takes place in the fictional world of Euthania, a place connected magically to Japan through a warp gate. The world of Euthania is heavily influenced by Thai and East-Asian mythology. Fans can expect to be immersed in this beautiful yet dangerous world with the two protagonists we see in the trailer.
