IDOLiSH7, a popular Japanese rhythm game, celebrated its 10th anniversary a few days ago. On Saturday, January 25, an event was hosted to commemorate the occasion. Other than some new details about the game and an exhibition for the franchise, fans also got an update about the anime series based on the game, and after three successful seasons, the anime is set to return with a 4th season soon.

Unfortunately, no other details were announced about the main anime, although it is already under production. Additionally, it was revealed that the first season’s best moments will be compiled into a movie and broadcast theatrically. Fans will be excited to know that the Kikkō no Quarter story from the game, focusing on the idol group ŹOOĻ, is also set to get an anime adaptation.

Other than the anime updates, we also got to know that a memorial exhibition will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo, from February 15 to March 2, 2025. Moreover, IDOLiSH7’s rival group Trigger is set to release their third album called Trois on March 12, 2025. The video form of Saturday’s livestream will be available to watch on the IDOLiSH7 YouTube channel on February 1, 2025.

The story highlights the hardships of the entertainment industry as well as the group’s struggle to rise through the ranks. Developed by Bandai Namco Online and Lantis, the game released its first anime adaptation back in 2018. The second and third seasons of the show aired in 2020 and 2023.
