The anime adaptation of Uglymug, Epicfighter is streaming right now.
The Uglymug, Epicfighter (Busa-men, Gachi-Fighter) manga’s sequel series, Busa-men, Gachi-Fighter SSS is coming to an end. Amazon has listed the second volume of the series as the final one, and it will be shipped on 24 October. In this Uglymug, Epicfighter sequel, the SSS stands for Sugoi Side Story.

As confirmed by the Amazon listing, the second and final volume of Busa-men, Gachi-Fighter SSS is being shipped on 24 October. The sequel is created by Osamu Kozuki, and is a spin-off of the original manga also illustrated by him. The Uglymug, Epicfighter manga on the other hand, is an adaptation of the original novel series by Ryō Hiromatsu. The SSS sequel began publishing in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine last December.
The Uglymug, Epicfighter series has also been adapted into an anime. It began streaming on 6 July, 2025, and is currently ongoing. Crunchyroll streams the anime worldwide. Square Enix’s MangaUP! platform publishes the original Uglymug, Epicfighter manga in English and describes the story as:
