The Duel Masters franchise is bringing something new for the fans once again. The third part of the manga series, titled Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~ (Duel Masters LOST ~Oblivion Sun~) has begun publication. Moreover, an anime adaptation based on the new manga series is set to come out in early 2026, although the exact release date remains unknown.

Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~ manga and anime details

Bōkyaku no Taiyō is the third installment of the Duel Masters LOST manga series. The second part of the series, titled Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ , ended last February. The manga series is created by Matsumoto and Kanebayashi. To celebrate the release of the third part of the manga, Coro Coro Comic is releasing all chapters of Part 1 and 2 of the series for everyone to read for free.

The anime, on the other hand, hasn’t revealed many details other than the early 2026 release window. The previous anime project Duel Masters Lost: Tsuioku no Suishō, is the anime adaptation of the Gekka no Shinigami manga. The anime, much like the manga, will pick up from where the story left off in the last installment.

The Due Masters is a multimedia franchise which began back in 1999. At first, it was a Magic: The Gathering manga adaptation, before branching off in 2002. There have also been several manga series, anime, video games, and a popular trading card game based on the franchise.
